Meet Kate
Hi i’m Kate and im a mobile foot health practitioner covering the Wrexham Borough and Llangollen area.
I qualified in 2021 at the College of Foot Health Practitioners and I am fully insured and DBS checked.
I participate in Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
Continuous learning ensures I am practising the latest techniques and expanding my knowledge to ensure a high standard of practice.
I have worked in the community care setting for over 20 years including the NHS in many areas such as learning difficulties, mental health and challenging behaviour.
Many of my clients have a dementia diagnosis and I work closely with family’s to ensure our appointments are positive and stress free and work with their individual needs.
Apart from enjoying working with feet and making people feel and look better I love the connection I have with my clients and the stories we share whilst im busy with their feet.
Working in social care I became aware of the many difficulties faced by many people to access a clinic in the community. Physical and mental health conditions, access to transport, relying on family and friends, inadequate disability facilities are just some of the issues people can face.
Being mobile allows my treatments to be accessed in your own home, allowing for a more relaxed and stress free appointment. Plus I get to meet everyone’s pets !
